Alright guys, This problem just started about a week ago.. While i was driving my car coming home from work.. My car just died, and it would not start back up. I notice that my fuel pump wasnt kickin in..so i open the hood and check all the fuses.. sure enough the FI EM fuse was blown..so i went and replace the fuse, and the car started back up..car ran for about a day, until the next night driving it, it blew the same fuse about three more times ..What could be the problem?! please let me know i really need some help.. oh yea I check my whole entire engine harness and it seemed to look fine.. look at the under dash harness and all the wires seem to be pretty good also.

You obviously have a short. Fuse 44 protects the main relay, ECU, fuel injectors, and IACV. Any CEL codes that might give a hint?

If you turn the key to ON(II) without starting the engine, does the fuse eventually blow?

naw, it takes awhile before the fuse blows..usually after driving it for few miles.. and it doesnt have a cel code..it only throws a code right when i blow the fuse.. but when i replace it goes away. do you think it has something to do with my distributor? because few weeks ago i replace my igniter module and the coil..

and the fuse blows randomly while im driving..so it reallyy sucks when it blows during traffic because i will create a bad one..lol. man i need help with this bad.

Turn the key to ON(II) and wait 5 minutes or so to see whether the fuse blows.

After the fuse blows, leave the key on, replace the fuse, and then immediately jump the service connector to pull the CEL code.

Yep, this works for 92-00 Civics.

so far it hasnt pop the fuse yet and i already put about 10 miles since last time it blew fuse...i believe the fuse only blows when i drive it for a long period of time without resting it..
