Full Coilover Suspension......Opinions needed
What is everyone running for for full coilover suspension and how do you like it? Any problems? Also has anyone bought Apexi off ebay? It says its new with a one year warranty and I am really debating it but kind of scared to buy it.
Help please!!
O and I know there is another thread rolling around but I just don't want to know about Tein or Ksport.

honestly.koni ground control. i wanted full coilover blah blah blah until i drove a car with the koni ground control setup. just as easy to tune if not easier than a full coilover set up. and sure you have to actually put it together, but most coilovers you have to do that anyway. plus it is lifetime warranty on both. so if anything ever happens to them WHAM BAM THANK YOU MAAM new set for free.

So now are you going to help me? Plus alot of the threads that I found are old and I wanted updated information. Stuff could have changed since then.

I was in the same position as you a couple days ago, I was debating what kind of setup I wanted to go for next because my current setup isn't aggressive as I would like it to be.
After a TON of reading I ended up choosing between PIC Performance coilovers or the Koni/Ground Control setup. After talking to Gabe Bauman-EJ8-Squad Leader, I was pretty much set on the Koni/GC combo.
You can get everything you need for around $900, they are tried and true and have proven themselves to MANY people in the H-T community, and of course there's the lifetime warranty.
I used to think there was a difference between the dissassembled Koni/GC combo, and a "full coilover" setup, until I talked to Gabe that is.
As Gabe said: "That "FULL COILOVER" talk is all nonsense. The Koni/GC setup is proven and is basically the same thing only difference is these come disassembled and you put the sleeve over the shock and voila...you've got a magical coilover that is ready for track duty while still allowing you to cruise the streets in comfort. I drive daily on the koni's at half setting...meaning 50/50 soft/stiff. When I autox I turn them up to full stiff and the difference is noticeable. You will not be let down by this setup...I promise."
Pretty convincing aye?
Here's some links for you:
Ground Control Springs:

Koni Struts:

The upper mounts (For Honda Civic or Acura Integra only!) Can be purchased directly from GC themselves here:

Good luck!

i'm watching season four of the original transformers series.
its awesome.
when optimus came back, and then the headmasters, i'm like WOH this is so HOT
nearly as hot as my GC/Koni setup
and unlike a lot of the other "full coils" you can simply call GC and get new springs at whatever rate you like.
its hot i tell you.
grimlock no like full coilover?
its awesome.
