Fuel pressure & relation????
This may come off as a really stupid question, but when having a car tuned to dump more fuel does it raise the fuel pressure by any chance??
I figured when tuning they just make the injectors pulse faster and longer, but today when looking over my car just checking for things that may need attention i noticed my car is pushing 60psi fuel pressure opposed to the 38/40 it should be pushing stock.
NO i do not have an upgraded fuel pump or a adjustable fuel pressure regulator. YES i do have 440cc injectors and it is tuned on crome.
If im right and tuning by software has nothing to do with adjusting the fuel pressure i assume ill just start diagnosing by looking for vacum leaks, and then check for a faulty pump??

Well I believe the ECU is making the change but your making the fuel pump work harder. 60psi ia alot if I were you get a regulator to tune it down a little what type of setup are you running need more info.

Well non the less stock regulator should let out at 40 psi, but no mine likes to stay at 60. Im going to check for leaks and all that in the morning, possibly swap out the regulator with another one i have laying around and worse case get a walbro 255lph again.
Its a all motor poor mans type r pushing 212whp in a eg sedan,no updated ignition system, fuel system except stated and its on a p28 ecu.

this is a forced induction section.
what are you trying to diagnose?
