Default Fuel filter catastrophe

So I decide it's been 10 years. It's time to change the fuel filter. While disconnecting the battery my socket wrench touched the positive terminal. Sparks flew. Finished the replacement. reconnected the battery, turn the key and... nothing happens.

I know fuel pump and all other electronics work when power on. Checked all the fuses I could, nothing blew.

You think I fried my starter solenoid? Or something worse?

Get a multimeter and see what voltage your battery is holding. You may have just drained the battery past being able to start the car.

Then check your main battery fuse/relay. It's in the under-hood fuse box, but it's one of the HUGE ones, not one of the smaller fuses.

I replaced the starter. Autozone said it was bad and was under warranty. However this didn't fix the problem. Guess what. The plastic clutch switch stopper broke. Now trying to figure out how to replace this without removing the clutch pedal. Any ideas people?

Yes, there are several threads on this. My experiance was to use a small loop of wire around it to guide it into place and use a flat head screwdriver to push it down.

I just had mine fall apart last week..

I went to honda, it was 2.89ea for 2 pads.

I used a lollipop that was half *** melted, Rubbed my index finger on it, got it sticky to hold the little plastic pad. Reached up into the pedal and snapped it in place. Took me all of 2 mins.

Its pretty easy to find. Hows that for some tech!

Mine was a little more difficult. I used a large flat head screw driver and doubled sided tape. Had my wife press the clutch down as needed. Thanks for the tips guys
