front lower tranny mount....
what up,
i recently swapped a b18 into my 99 ek hatch, i used hasport motor mounts (left side, right side, and lower mount) i just dont have the mount that's in the front that connects to the transmission (under the coolant overflow bottle). do i need that mount?
thanks

It helps to have that mount. It is just a torque mount, and it helps dampen the engine movement under load. You do not NEED this mount to drive your car, but, I definitely suggest having it to prevent other broken mounts.

You don't NEED that mount, however it's always a good idea to give your motor all the physical support you can.

I'm guessing no. Only reason is because that mount connects your chassi (which it would bolt up to) and the other end connects to your transmission. As we know, the D and B series transmission are different, the B being physically bigger than the D. You can try it, but I doubt the holes will line up properly.
