found 92 si hatch.... what should i look for??
Hey guys, so yesterday i found a 1992 si hatch on craigslist. It has a b16 swap in it. the chassis has 238 k miles on it, and unknown miles on engine. The b16(still trying to figure out what kind...they guy doesnt live here, i asked him and he said he will take a look today) he said seized up on the highway while he was cruising at 70 mph. He hasnt drivin it since. The guy doesnt know anything about the engine, he didnt put it in. Said it ran perfect for the year and a half that he had it. he said it would need new wiring harness. So my question would be, what should i look for if i do decide to go take a look at it....not necessarily on the engine, but the car itself. and if i was to get it, would it be worth rebuilding the engine would you guys say swap another one into it. Thanks guys!

Given the little information you have on the car, you currently should assume that you'll need to replace the engine and wire harnesses, and possibly the ECU and transmission. Also inspect the general appearance of the body and interior, the suspension, and the brakes.
