Flowmaster just seems wrong on an import, I have a DC Sports TCS system i was gonna modify for my prelude but it just won't work. I'm trying to sell it for $300ish bucks. It's used it's got some scratches on it from driving on my brothers civic.

Thats a very stupid thing to say. I guess Garrett Turbos would be wrong on a V8 then as well? That falken drift mustang must make you cry then.
Flowmaster makes excellent products, a freind of mine had a 40 series on his d16-t w/ a resonator, sounded fantastic.

Yes, flowmaster mufflers work good on civics. For some odd reason, when someone mentions flowmaster, i think of truck and mustang exhaust's, lol, mainly cause whenever a commercial is on (speed channel), they advertise it with domestics. I knew someone that had a flowmaster exhaust on their civic, it didnt sound too bad at all.

That statment made almost no sense.
That buzzing and raspyness is caused mainly by the presence (or lack of) a Catalytic converter and the size of the resonator. They determine the depth of the sound for a large percentage. A stock cat and resonator reduces a large amount of that "ricey" sound. A flowmaster chamber is larger than most conventional ebay fart can's, providing a decent amount of sound curbing.
Where do you get your exhaust information, from the fast & furious?

i have heard some flows on civics and they sound like ****...maybe those ricers didnt have a cat...who knows. but i would still stay away from it and get somethin like a dc sports or skunk 2 or something besides flows. but i was going from what i have heard in person.
