i am in the middle of a power door conversion on my 96 dx i have installed the floor harness from a 96 si
everything is plugged in but the door harness to floor harness plugs
the one on the driverside is trashed there is no way i can use it. really wish i would have seen this before i bought it. i would like to just replace the plug

1. do all 2 door civics with power doors and locks have the same floor harness?
2. would a 4 door harness work? i am assuming not but i have been wrong before.

 

Any junk yards in your area?


Find car with correct harness, de-pin the plug. De-pin your current, and put the new one on.

 

the door plugs are very hard to depin and here in canada heated mirrors are different then non heated power mirrors (same wire colour just different pin location and four door harness would have extra wire's for the other window controls

 

hmm. Yeah, i have no idea about heated mirrors. We didn't get that luxury here.


About the de-pining, I've never had an easy time with them. lol

 

i just cut the whole plug off and put a new one on

 

the pins are trashed i was going to just cut and splice a new plug in.
