96-98 floor harness technical questions
Is their a difference between the 2dr civic and 4 door civic floor wiring harness?
Basically I need the connector from the floor harness to the door harness on the floor wiring harness side because my power windows wont roll up due to some bad wiring and the connector itself. I already know that the door wire harness itself is different on both the 2 door and the 4 door, but, what about the the floor wire harness itself?
Will cutting a connector from a 2 door civic work on the 4 door civic?
TIA HT.`

Re: (slomofo)
i know they are different.
the biggest question is whether or not the floor harness is different.
now im thinking i might just cut off all connectors and solder the wires together from the door harness to the floor harness. its a little more work, not as clean, but, it'll work.

Re: (spidermancivic)
Have you looked at the service manual at all? I think the plug is the same. When you look up a door harness, I don't think you have to specify it the drivers side harness is for a 2dr or 4dr, so that would mean the plug is the same.

Re: (Burnt Toast)
The service manual shows that plug (c401) is the same for all models of 96-98 and 99-00 GX model which is the natural gas version. The 99-00 is a different plug and is also used on all models except for the GX, which uses the 96-98 plug. So it should work for you.
