Re: FLOATING GAS GAUGE??
It's a pretty common thing to happen, mine does it pretty bad. When I downshift into 2nd, to get on the highway, it will go from half a tank to an 1/8th of a tank, and then back to half a tank about a mile down the road. On the other hand, neither of my friend's Civics did it at all.

Re: FLOATING GAS GAUGE??
very common they all do it, as 92-00 civic ( not sure of other years) dont have baffles in the gas tank, causeing the gas to move around, there for the "floating guage" its noithing to worry about,
mine does it all the time, as long as your gas light works, or you can judge the millage on the tank, you will never have any problems.
next time please search this thread has been coverd a billion times.
