Default Fixing cracked lip

Long story short. I was moving my car and backed over a small culvert and the front lip dragged and cracked. It's an ABS plastic one and not cracked all the way from top to bottom, just bottom and front. Can this be repaired? Like bonded or fiberglassed on the backside?

dude, I just busted my abs mugen lip in 3 peices like a week ago from sliding on ice and running the lip into a curb going like 5 mph. I used this stuff called fixit or something like that (it's super glue basically) and glued the 3 pieces together and it holds up fine until winters over. Then I'll put my cf spoon one on. But yeah, it doesn't look too attractive, but it does work. Just make sure you let the glue dry completely before even attempting to put it on.

My little brother borrowed the car, and came home not once but twice with a broken lip (not face, but the civic!). Its seen better days, but I've been able to fix it both times with ABS glue. I know its a bit ghetto, but I decided that I would keep it because one, it was gift from a good buddy of mines, and second it looks better then no lip and will have to do untill a get a new carbon fiber one.

You can repair it quite easily, even if its torn in two. Get some ABS plastic glue, its the sort that pumbers use. I just took it from my dad whose a general contracter, and apply and let set. It creates a pretty dam strong bond if you get the piece to stay there for a while. Remember to make sure you apply some sort of force to hold the pieces together, use a clamp, or some tape, or just something to insure that the peices hold together.

When I had massively broken lip, I layered the glue on, let it set, then came back the next day, and sanded the entire lip down and repainted it flat black. Can't tell the lip was ever broken.

EG6 SR...do you know where to buy that stuff? Home Depot or similar? Sounds like a good fix. I'm not ready to buy another lip.

i recently cracked my mugen lip too...you cannot fix it back into perfect shape. I tried...and believe me...it wasnt pretty...just buy a new one or go with the stock ex lip like me.

Its such a hassle rolling around with a big mugen lip. It hits everything!

I fixed one before. I used 36 grit on the back then laid fiberglass on it. You'll have to use boddy filler to smooth out the cracks in the front. Then paint.
