First time ever engine swapping seeking help! ( 2000 Honda Civic Ex Coupe)
Recently my engine just blew.. I intend on keeping the car (2000 Honda Civix EX), it came with the nun to special razzle dazzle D16Y8. But now considering, I intend to swap it sooner with a B18A1. I’m not much of the expert on cars, but would love to hear all voices, and gain some knowledge on how, and what to do with the swap. Thanks guys, and if there’s anything that wasn’t made clear, let me know!

You should have just rebuilt that Y8 motor. I mean...have someone rebuild that motor for you. That B18A1 is older than your car. Not sure what you're trying to accomplish here.

I've put a 150,000 miles on a 2000 EX w/ B18b1. It's a much nicer car to drive with the twin cam motor, and I've got plenty of miles on z6's and y8's to compare it to. b1 will make your wiring easier. Even better, B20z will give you a little more torque.
