First post regarding H22 swap...
I recently just purchased a 94 Civic VX hatchback, and Ive been reading about swaps non-stop for the past week. I just wanted to review that Ill be buying everything I need in order to make the swap work. I will be doing the work myself for two reasons:
1.) This is a project car, and there is no point in having a project car if Im gonna pay someone to finish my project!
2.) I dont have the money to pay a shop anyways, plus Ive read that the swap is pretty straight forward, besides the wiring harness.
Ok, Ive read that http://www.importautosalvage.com is the place to get the H22A, and Larry is the guy to talk to. I plan on buying HCP motormounts package from http://www.jdmshit.com (includes the EG-22B Mount Kit and AC Bracket for $375 shipped). I have plenty of information on the OBD1 to H22A wiring harness swap, and V-Tec wiring. I know Ill need a new radiator fan from summit racing. I plan on buying DDS stage 1 axles, hopefully they wont break on me.
The question I wanna know is am I missing anything? Ive read until my eyes bleed, I dunno what I am missing. If you guys could add to the list or point me in any other direction, by all means, go right ahead. Hey, ATLEAST I SEARCHED!!
