So its been 2000km after my rebuild and guess everything is ready(break in period is over finally), so i get the car for a initial tune after running it at a limp mode.

and after all these days of struggling, headaches and outcome i simply cant stand it anymore.

Current NA setup:
JDM B18C-R
Toda C/cam gear/springs
Ferrea Valve
PCT pistons (high compression setup)
Power FC street tuned.

Tuning is not totally done yet as cams are all set to zero at this moment, but the initial test on acceleration is VERY disappointing. went to a closed loop private owned road for accel test with a totally gutted EG with a bone stock D16Z6 with close gear ratio and 4.25FD(less than 900kg, no AC no PS), starting from 3rd gear 4000 im not able to pass the EG until 8K. and at 180kph mark im just 5 car length ahead of him.

so my redline is set at 9k at this moment, timing been retard a lot to prevent knock, the only thing i could think of at this moment.

so the question is what im expecting after all the cam adjustment, ignition and fuel? as im expecting way more than this before puting the stuff together.
