WOT bogs but when releasing gas it churps tires.
so i have the same issue for the last 2 years, but now its worse. I can be in ANY gear, and when I go WOT, it bogs and shakes, but the second i release the gas, RPMS go way up and it chirps the tires. Its happend a little worse since i put in the denso u-plugs, which are the standard denso's (ngks were out of stock). I dont know if its an exhaust leak, because ive replaced my whole exhaust from the manifold back, 3 times. 10% throttle goes faster than 70%. Ive adjusted my timing by turning the dizzy, still nothing, unless I advance it all the way.
Changed plugs, wires, cap/rotor
tranny fluid, oil, battery 02 sensor
fuel filter, pcv valve and lines. adjusted my valve lash.
changed intakes 6 times, and throttle body 2 times.
axles, wheels, grounding points, ground wires.
Still everything is the same, slower than a 21 speed schwinn. and i cant keep up with golf carts.
Its off and on, sometimes for a a minute it will work fine, but sure enough, thats once in a few weeks.
what is this problem? could it be my distributor coil? or something with ignition? fuel? fuel pressure is dead on. I have not checked compression or done a leakdown test. I dont think its my timing since i have adjusted it all over the place.
However the problem is catastrophic when i retard the timing, its better when its advanced, but still, its nowhere near a stock civic like mine. should i purchase some ignition upgrades to help any weak link? what about boosting the fuel pressure a tad? im going to get a timing gun to set the timing to stock.
I appreciated the help people!!!!

how easy can an oem 99-00 exhaust manifold crack due to oil and grease on it? I'm worried this is part of it.
