Few shots of my b16a2 on track
A few people here have asked me about differences in bumpers, etc on our UK Honda Civics. Here's a few pics of mine on track to illustrate the difference. Its a 1997 VTi which has a 160bhp b16a2 motor in stock form. I've added Eibach springs and Koni yellow dampers to drop it a little.
I know the USA style of thinking is that smaller (and usually black or dark!) alloys are preferable, but I'll admit to putting on the 205/40/17s last year just for looks. Small wheels and subtle styling still hasn't taken off here! I'm thinking of changing to 15s now though, for better handling and pace.

Yeh, didn't think the big rims would be appreciated on here! I'd say 75% of car modders and enthusiasts in the UK still go for style over performance, though we're starting to see the light. Since I've been using Honda-tech and come to your way of thinking, I've certainly gone off the idea of big wheels.
The Lexus lights (Altezzas to you guys), I got pretty cheap and they were quite rare here at the time. I'm selling the car soon anyway and getting a JDM CTR so will keep the lights stock on that

I like you car man and I'm really happy to see it on the track. Good luck on getting the JDM CTR. How hard are those things to get over there? It's damn near impossible to get one here!! (or at least not worth it with all the bs)
btw, did somebody's car break down in that first pic? lol

Yeh, that guy had a bad day. First the car broke down and I almost clipped it coming round the corner (couldn't see them) .... then they got it going, but rolled it on its roof about half an hour later!
The JDM CTR is pretty rare in the UK but I've been doing a bit of homework and am going to import one from Japan myself. I should be able to bring it over, all costs included, for about 6k sterling. Going rate for one in the UK is about 9k sterling. We get Japanese auction lists from a very reputable site - http://www.auto.co.jp.
