Fan question??
About a week ago i had blown HG. i finished my head work this weekend and everything is fine, but i'm puzzled. my fan won't come even though it reaches normal temp. my hoses get hot, top and bottom. its about 30 degrees out right now would that cause the fan not to come on.
P.S. i've done a search on this and came up blank

The fan shouldn't come on until the engine begins to over heat, the 30 degrees might be enough to keep the fan from coming on. If you are not over heating I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Fan question?? (Burton7706)
i am having the same problem my fan wont start and i thought it was the thermo stat so i changed it and it wasnt it the radiator is fine the fuses are good so now i connected the fan dirrectly to the battery with a switch and when it gets over heated i turn it on but the temperature wont go down so any feed back will be cool.
