f2d eg questions
ok so one of my friends sold me a f22b1 from a accord for 100 bucks. since my d16z6 is on its last leg i was wondering about this f2d kit from bisimoto. i have researched it a little. and was woundering what mount i should use for the timing belt one. oh yea my car is a 1993 civic si hatch. one more thing i belelve its a obd2 motor. how should i go about with the wiring? convert to
ob1 or use accord ecu (witch i have). is there anyother problems i could run into to??? sorry about all the questions just trying to do it right once. thanks a bunch.

I think that's an OBD1 motor. It should be a pretty direct swap aside from maybe having to extend a few wires since the F/H motors are bigger.
If you can afford it, look into a Prelude head. It will drop right on, but depending on your block, head and piston combo, you could wind up with like 9:1 compression, but if you are lucky, it'd be like a H22 for super cheap.

Re: f2d eg questions
yea i was thinking about getting a h head down the road when i get more money. some things im worrring about are the intake manifold being to tall and and the crank pulley hit the frame rail. i was told the motor was obd2 but ill check up on that. do you think it is a good idea to pick up a f23 block and use that with the f22b1 head. (more tourqe) hell yea

converting to obd1 would be simple, just run get a different distributor or repin the one you have. Either way, not a big deal.
F23s are cheap, but i would just use the F23 longblock and not swap the F22 head on. I don't know what the heads flow, but just so you don't have to buy another head gasket and such... I don't think that 100cc will make a huge difference. At least I wouldn't spend much to upgrade.
