I traded a friend my Chevy Camaro 95 for this civic. As is.
I have already found a lot of wear and tear (assuming).
Where do I start? I would appreciate other ideas, recommendations, suggestions and any help.
Anything regarding suspension, performance and any well known facts that they would like to share about these cars would be great.
What would be the best thing for it?

I don't mean to be facetious here, but a distributor would be a good place to start.

Would definately help it start. I would definately pull the automatic transmission and replace it with a 5 speed if you're going for anything even remotely performance oriented. Body seems to be straight and rust free from what I can see, looks good

Ok I just ordered that.
How do I know if the motor mounts need to be replaced. The ride seems smooth.
since I cant get them all at once which ones are the most important?
One of my tie rods on the left side moves a bit. Do I need to replace the whole tie rod or just get them tightened.
The dashboard of the ac and other buttons only turn on sometimes. Where would be the best place to start with getting that repaired.
i also found that the hoses to the heater core are cut. Does that mean I am bypassing something?
I have a lot of questions. no one likes to tell me whats wrong around here unless they fix it themselves. I have the time to find out and learn all this myself. Thanks an advance.

I strongly believe a car should be 100% road worthy before any modding begins.

Take it to an alignment shop ad have the car shook down. This will detect any worn suspension components. If they're bad have those fixed.

Pretty much have the car inspected and have them tell you whats wrong with. Dont okay any repairs unless you're incapable of doing the repair yourself (tie rods are something I'd let the alignment shop do).

That said, once its road worthy, I'd start on suspension.

If it's the outer tie rod end, it's not hard to replace as long as you've got the muscle (I didn't so a friend helped me). Just be smart about it and mark or count your threads. Then have it aligned. I would replace brakes and rotors, distributor, flush any and all expendable fluids (gas, oil, coolant, etc). Distributor, plugs, wires. Maybe consider havingthe internals cleaned since the distributor is missing cause some nasty **** could have gotten inside that thing...
