...what do you guys think? you think it would be worth a shot or should I just stick with something fwd like a k20 or something? I have the ability to do this I just wanted to know if it is even possible?

No offense but if you really could do this yourself, you probably wouldn't be asking if "its even possible".
Anything is possible with custom fabrication...I've seen the entire S2000 drivetrain in an old BMW 3 series...you can also look up the Civette (Corvette LS2 drivetrain in an EK Civic hatch).
IMO, stick with a K20 though.

Re: F22C swap in hatch
I thought I'd read somewhere that an F22 would bolt up to a K series transmission, or that someone made an adapter plate for it... since it's supposedly based on the K series. If so, it probably wouldn't be that much harder than a K swap.
Does anyone know if that's true, or if I just dreamed it one night?

^ A couple companies made adapter plates, but I haven't heard about anyone selling them. In fact I haven't heard any updates about it in a year or more.
