Extensive search failed - EJ back seat removal? No fold down seats
93 Civic EX Coupe. I want to remove the backseat but I can't get access to any bolts/hinges.
I've tried searching, a LOT Of searches, and nothing came up. Only a how-to for a hatch with fold down seats. DON'T POST THAT LINK BECAUSE I ALREADY LOOKED AT IT AND IT'S 100% USELESS FOR ME.
I really need to talk to someone who's specifically taken off the seats of an EJ with no folddown seats.
If you're going to post useless **** like "use search" or "Use more search words" then just shut the expletive up and leave, your parents made a mistake having you.

Mine don't. It's an EX for sure, and it doesn't have the fold down **** things at the top of the seat.
I can't fold the seats down or access any bolts through the trunk. I don't have a hatch either...

This is how you get them down. Once you've done that to get the top peice off there is a 10mm bolt dead center behind the rear seat. Once you get that, there are 2 10mm bolts on either side of the bench seat. From there, there are hinges that go into the chassi that further hold the bench down. You have to rock the seat up and back to get them out.
