This may sound dumb, but, i am new to Honda's. And i want to know the differences between b16a's.. b16's, b16b's. What are each of these engines? Wich model/year vehicles can you find each of these engines in etc.

Could you explain it all to me? I'd surely like to know

B16A3 - found in Del Sol VTEC's in the U.S. (94-95 for sure, maybe up to 1997)
B16A2 - found in Civic Si 99-2000 (although one of my references says B16A4, my other references all agree B16A2)
B16B - Civic type R (non-US)

Other B16's - only found in other countries. Some found in late 80's-early 90's Integras and Civics in other countries, but not here.

b16a: JDM motor. 1.6 liters. 160-170hp. Vtec motor. Found in 88-91 SiRs, 92-95 SiRs and Integra XSis
b16a3: USDM motor. 1.6 liters. 160 hp. Vtec motor. Found in Del Sol Vtec. Years, I'm not so sure.
b16a2: USDM motor. 1.6 liters. 160 hp. Vtec motor. Found in 99-00 Si and a few Del Sols.
b16b: JDM motor. 1.6 liters. 185hp. Vtec motor. Found in Civic Type R.

Doesn't California Get Civic Type R's? Anyway the first generation B16A is just called B16A in some Integras and CRXs. I thought the B16A2 was in the Del Sol, and B16A3 was in the 99-00 Civic SI, but not too sure.
And yea B16B is the Civic Type R motor.

Yeah, would have gotten a CTR.....over ITR. B16 is a great motor, can't go wrong with that swap. Cheap and effective.
