Exhaust system help!
Hey,
I have a 95 civic with an ls swap in it. Today i went and got my emissions test and failed!!!. Basically its the exhaust system, its about 6 yrs old, its a generic brand. I was wondering what kind of exhaust is quite, cheap, and will pass the smog test. I am tired of the one i got now, when i get on the interstate I can't even hear the radio. Any advice would be much appreciated. I was looking at this one in particular...

Did you fail because of emissions? or because your exhaust was too loud?
If sound didn't matter, you could run no exhaust and still pass emissions.

Re: Exhaust system help! (97dxnut)
i failed because of emissions the CO reading was 10.09 and the HC was at 2277. I am running a cheap *** high flow cat.. Also if you were not running an exhaust you would definitley fail. THATs why theres catalytic converters on cars. and People who run a straight pipe will likely fail an emissions test.
So answer my post plz.
