exhaust piping question!
do 96-00 1.6EL's or civic dx/si(ex in states) exhaust piping size the same as on a SIR (SI in states)??? what is the size of the piping on a SIR compared to the lower models? i wanted to buy a catback exhaust of a lower model civic but he said it wont fit my car cuz its a SIR... is this true?

It should bolt up to the car - if anything you MAY need to modify the B-pipe to connect to your cat. Shouldn't be much of a problem though.

I have a 99 SI (u.s. model) and the exhaust I'm using is for a 96-00 civic. If the exhaust your trying to use from a 95 or lower model you may need a muffler shop to do the install. I think the bends are a little diferent as well as the hangers.(could be wrong thou. Hope that helps .
