exhaust help
sup guys...question..
when i got in my car this morning and started up the car, it sounded like the exhaust was rattling a little bit..when i touch the gas even a little bit, it completely stops...
i got out with it in netural, and looked at it, doesnt seem to be coming from under the car, its right out the tip it seems....after driving to work, it was gone... any ideas? hasnt happened before?
I drove about 200 miles on it yesterday, could it have anything to do with it...its stainless steel, and only been on the car for about a month.

Re: exhaust help (pburke23)
Nothing is wrong with your exhaust or the fact that you drove 200 miles the other day. Just the hangeres that hold the mufler are probably loose. Just lube them and your car should be fine. I had the same problem previously, and I lubed the hangers, and gone... !!!

im no car xpert but sounds to me like u have a hole in your muffler somewhere. before i bought my 2004 civic, i was driving around a 85 camery bucket. damn thing rattled everywhere, n after u gas it a bit the sound goes away... i took it to the shop n they told me there was a hole in it. about $150 to get it fixed i think..
but anyhoo, i might be wrong. im an uber n0ob wen it comes to cars -__+ jsut throwin' in my 2 cents -__^
