Default in need of help

So heres the deal, ordered a Apex'i WS2 univesal NA muffler offset to the right from hopupracing.com. Went to the local exhaust shop to get it fitted to the 2 1/4 pipe already on the vehicle. Much to my suprise when on the rack he says can't be done because of the offset and how it will affect the LCA. Does anyone out there have a idea on what I could do? I asked hopup if they could switch the muffler out for a non offset version but they say can't be done. Any pics or ideas would help. The car is dropped on skunk2s lowering springs if it matters.

How does it affect the lca if the muffler is welded after the lca?

The pipe from the muffler to the rear flange is the part that will be affected be the lca

So you have the muffler, what's the deal?

I didn't buy it from the muffler shop itself. Any pics of a muffler style with an offset on the right in a civic would help also.

A picture of the muffler might help.
I just don't see why the muffler won't work. Its not like
they don't produce the catback for your car.

you gotta find a little ghetto muffler shop somewhere that will do anything.... then you have to get under the car while they are positioning it so they dont screw it up.. lol

if i had a digi cam id post one, but im broke so i can't. the best i can do is explain how it looks. basic WS2 universal muffler except where the inlet pipe is in the middle mine is offset to the right. i was told and i looked for myself that the pipe would be in the middle of the LCA and upon any suspension flex it would hit and damage the pipe. so im just looking for a picture or a suggestion on if anyone has done this before. thanks to the mods for adjusting my title too.
