Default excessive smoke

hey guys, ive noticed that when i apply my foot on the throttle, my car starts to blow out tons of smoke. i know it didnt do this before i got my oil change. but now im thinking it couldve been when i was out one nite, i checked the oil and from the light in the area it looked to be low...so i put in two quarts of oil in the engine. i check the oil level now and its above the highest dot on the dipstick. now im just thinking (hoping) that my car is burning off the excess oil i put in. so do any of you think that this couldve been the problem blowing out all the smoke? fyi the smoke looked to be white...couldnt really tell if it was blue because my windows were tinted. i appreciate all who can help me out. tia

car is a 94 civic cx with a 95 ex motor with usual bolt ons minus a exhaust system but also with a cam gear and test pipe.

ok NEVER OVERFILL YOUR OIL, you are increasing pressure in your engine (i think) ne way, drain some out at the plug!!!
