EX knock sens. with P72??

EX knock sens. with P72??
I know I can get a sohc vtec knock sensor for cheap. The question is, will it work with a P72 setup?? Are the 2 sensors by any chance technically similar?

I believe so, my friend wired in a knock for me in my dx civic, which he had to run it from the harness, and I was runing a p72 ecu at the time and I did not get a CEL for knock , my b16 came with a knock, im pretty sure the gsr does

Do you think the plugs are the same? I'd rather not have to hack on my GSR harness, but if I can get an EX knock for $20, I'll make an exception

Wierd, I didn't think EX's had knock sensors since they run P28 ECU's and didn't require one? But anyway, I'm running a P72 on my B16A and I think the knock sensors should be the same since it's just one wire.

and if its an obd2 thing like you said, then its NOT a p28 ecu!! p28 does not look for knock sensor...
