EVap cansiter can question?
So I a b16a2 in my 98 civic hb, and I been trying to ref the car for sometime now, the problem is that he failed me for the canister can. The ref station said that I need the canister can from the 2000 SI, so i talk to my friend with an si so I can use his canister can, but his canister can is bigger and mounted on to the firewall. the question is has anyone out there switch the cansiter can to an si and how did you do it. Or if you know a better way for me to pass REF pls let me know.. i didnt get pulled over or anything , but just want to do every thing right...

The Si canister is the same as the ex canister. And yes it slides up on a track. Just find a way of securing it somewhere in your engine bay, it can be anywhere as long as it's functional. Just make sure you hook up the lines correctly.

JB weld dude
You'd need a lot, and it would look like absolute ***. Plus the vibration from the driving with the weight of the canister may crack it. But it would be safe. And fumes are conatined within the canister until it's time to purge. Just find some other way to secure it.
