Would it be just a muffler vs. a whole catback system, or would you get custom bent piping with the ES muffler.

If it is only a muffler, dont bother with the ES, go for the cat-back.

If you would get piping bent, then it depends on how quiet an exhaust you want. The WS is really quiet untill high in the RPM range.

The ES isnt very loud, but it screams at high RPM's.

Most of all, If you want to avoid police and other "unwanted" attention, get the WS and paint everything but the tip flat black.

I have the WS on my 93 hatch and I'm lovin' it. It's not an ALL OUT performance system, but it's quiet...and it does the job well. Love NOT getting a headache after driving only 5 mins... lol

I have been debating the choice either - except with KTeller8's magnaflow piping + exhaust [oval style]

I think the price of everything comes out to basically the same, magnaflow will most likely flow better, but you have to get it welded together, which isnt a problem unless you are a lazy phawk.

WS is all there, and ready for you to put on...

World sport. heard it, seen it, touched it, loved it. i might be buying one soon if any extra cash shows up. A very mellow, STOCK tone but slightly louder with a nice bassy rumble to it. honestly, if it weren't for the tip size, most people wouldn't even know it was aftermarket. Sounds great.

i have both the esoval and the WS,...both are badass,...the WS is quieter,...but both scream at WOT,...the es oval is more throaty then the WS,...ES oval with some custom mandrel bent piping should be a little bit cheaper then the full catback WS,..i run a USDM type R header with USDM type R cat with SI piping to my ES oval,...it sounds badass,...but like i said,..its louder then my WS,..good luck on whatever choice you pick
