Default engine swap

i just put a b16 in my ek and the problem im having is that the car will not charge itself. i have a new battery, alternator and have a 99 si harness to go with it, so just wondering if you know what is wrong

Sometimes, new batteries could have bad cells...more then likely not thought, but it is possible. I'd go get my battery checked at a local shop(its done free at WalMart) and at the same time, have the starter and charging system tested.

The test would only say if your battery needs to be replaced or recharged or bad, and if you do have a problem with your charging system, it won't say what exactually.

This is done with the battery tester we use at WalMart. Good luck.
