I just swapped in my mini-me D15B7 setup into my sedan. I took it for a test drive last night around the block and it drove fine. Today i drove it to the auto parts store and on the way back it started getting really sluggish and sputtering. 1st gear was fine but 2nd there was no power at all and the car wanted to die. also the exhaust got extremely hot for such a short trip. when i let the car idle, it would rev up and down repeatedly between 800 and 1500 rpm. i think maybe the IACV valve is messed up or maybe something with my fuel system or injectors. also i had some smoke coming out from the driver-side front wheel-well. Anybody have any ideas before i start tearing it down??

Also check for intake air or vacuum leaks.

Regarding smoke from the wheel well, pull off the wheel to check whether the brakes are dragging on the rotor - could be a caliper issue.

i think maybe there was some bad gas in there. I put some octane 93 in there and started it in the driveway and it wasnt doing what it was doing earlier. Ill test drive it tomorrow and see whats up....thanks tho
