Default Engine Removal D16Y7

I am in the process of taking the engine out of the car. My question is what are all the bolts on the tranny to remove the tranny from the engine. I do not want to remove the tranny! I have taken off 4 block bolts, and the the rear T bracket bolts, and the tranny bracket underneath....What else am I stuck on?

So you are trying to leave the transmission in the car and just pull the engine?

Did you get the 17mm bolt facing FROM the engine towards the transmission? The head of it is pointing towards the driver's side of the vehicle.

It's easy to miss.

If you do a Google search, you can pull up the 96-00 Civic service manual, where you'll find answers to your questions and many others.

Yes it is still hard to tell on the computer which bolts there are to get off. So I was asking for somebody who has done it to just give me some quick info.

The service manual diagrams are pretty clear. Which bolts in the diagrams are you unable to locate?
