H22 coupe

hey there got a 95 civic h22 swap in it/ question=everytime i step on the gas like too floor it it laggs like it wants too die until it reaches 2500rpm . like if im in 5th and i step oj the gas it wants too die until the rpms hits a certain point. if you have any clue on what im talking about please help. thanks

Timing, crank or ign. Does it sputter around at 2500? For some reason a lot of the time sputter + 2500rpm = ignition coil gone bad.

To check the dizzy, just try another if you have one lying around. Or get out the multi-meter.
