Engine hesitation
hey guys, need a little help with my car. its a 93 hatch with a d16y7. the car recently began to have some problems. when i come say, around a corner at low rpms(1200-2000), and give the car gas, it hesitates and feels as if someone is pulling it back. then it just revs out and jerks ahead and is fine. seemed like it was starving for gas, and my milage went way down this week, although i dorve the same amount. i thought it could be the fuel filter, so yesterday i changed it and bam, problem solved. then today, it starts doing the same **** again. is it possible i have some bad gas? i have heard it can happen, but not often. i really dont know what else it could be
thanks for the help

Re: (ek4h)
ill try that out, the only reason i dont understand the problem is because i put the new fuel filter on yesterday and the hesitation was gone. now all of the sudden its back.
thanks, anyone else have experience with this issue?

use Lucas injector cleaner, a whole bottle per tang is what i use, and it works great, i use injector cleaner every1,500-2,300 miles i know it's not recommended but i do that to stay on the safe side

but since you live out west if i were you i'd actually use Stinker gas, thats what me and my homeboy's run out there, it's the best gas and i use shell here in wisconsin it's the same gas but, when im back out there in idaho stinker is the only way to go.
