Re: Electronic Load Detector??!?! (mugenhatch92)
code 20 is a type of sensor that measures the current/voltage running between the battery and alternator... then relays the message to the ecu and in turn determines whether or not the alternator should be on or off.
what type of setup do you have? messed with anything electrical lately?
possible solutions would be a new battery, alternator...etc. etc.
it can also be as simple as a missing/blown fues underneath the dash. if not, check underneath the hood. still have the problem? check the grounds next. make sure each and every single one is good. it also may be your battery . clean that jazz up...
and in my particular code 20 fiasco.... my ecu was bad. (or rather, the chip i put in was bad)... changed the ecu (chip) and code all gone!!
good luck
