Electrical short HELP
92 DelSol, stock b16a, body kit, Samba green with a fleck. Check engine system tells me problem 20 - Electronic Load Detector . I have done a draw test and that is 300ma (200 when ecu disconected) . My speedo is playing up now and again and the hazard lights are coming on once in awhile when starting. I have checked all wiring under the dash and changed the under bonnet fuse box. Still same problem . any ideas on how to track down this fault and problem . i have pulled out what hair i have left .

The body kit and green paint are the problem.
Have you replaced the ELD unit itself? Did you check the wires leading to the fuse box? If you've already done those things then it's possible the ECU may actually be the issue if it's misinterpreting the signal given by the ELD.

A lot of ELD codes are spurious. If it is just an old code and the CEL is not presently on, don't replace anything right now.
Seemingly unrelated systems interacting is almost always because of a bad ground.

I'd start simple with your grounds. Make sure there is no corrosion on any of the primary or any wiring at all. Make sure engine grounds are good as well. Seems like there is a problem with the ELD, it's in a fuse box. There is a SIMILAR pic here https://www.civicforums.com/forums/2...l#&gid=1&pid=1 . Make sure that's not blown or try doing a quick replacement and see if that fixes it
