Default Electrical Problems 97DX

I have a 1997 Civic DX, completely stock. The car recently was in a front end collision, and had headlights and AC replaced as far as anything with wiring is concerned. The battery was failing to hold charge, so I bought a new one, within a week it died completely. I replaced the alternator this morning with a brand new factory alternator, I have a brand new distributor housing, cap and rotor as well. Also the primary O2 sensor was just replaced with new as well. Now I have a check engine light still, and there is a pulsating effect to the power in the car, the headlights pulse slightly, the check engine light itself as well as anything else requiring power. In addition the speedometer is not working and it occasionaly will jump around even if the car is not moving. I checked the speed sensor for that problem, but it is in working order. Here are the codes it is giving me:

P1298 - High voltage
P0135 - O2 sensor 1
P0141 - O2 sensor 2

i havent had a chance to reset the codes, but those were what I got before I replaced the one main O2 sensor and alternator, but nothing has changed.

Thanks.

-Dave

did you check to see what the code was?

also, you might want to try tightening the alternator belt (check if it is loose), or check the battery cable terminals to see if they are tightened.
could be something as simple as that.

it could also be the wiring that you said was replaced.

hope this kinda helps

oops i misread your post,
well what you might want to do is try resetting the ecu since you fixed some of those problems.
but double check what i told you to check

I reset the ECU, and even with the new alternator now, it still will not charge, it runs without dying, but when i shut it off, thats it. Still the pulsating as well. Hmmm

did you check the alternator belt to see if it was too loose?

if thats not the case,
you might want to check the wiring of the alternator too see if anythings loose, or cut.
