electrical gurus i need your help

Default electrical gurus i need your help

my car isnt starting, i turn the key and the fuel pump primes and then i go to start it and it clicks and the whole car turns off
nothing will work not even the flashers
i tried putting another battery on, but it does the same thing, but when i jump the car it will start up every time
please help me diagnose this problem

bad ground from batt to chassis?

X2 check for loose connections on the battery

hey yea it was a bad ground which i thought it was in the beginning but i checked it like an idiot, put wire around it and hammered the connection on
did it the right way opened up the wires and closed them around some wire to make it tighter and it fired up like a champ
the actual poles on the battery were worn down :/
tbu yea i guess moral of the story do it the right way the first time
thanks for all your guys help though
i can go to work tommorow now woo hoo!
