Re: EK SRS? (pucho)
Take the bulb out of your cluster! No, seriously, since you're ECU is programmed to monitor your SRS, when it checks for proper operation of your airbags, it'll see that your driver air bag is disconnected. It's something you're gonna have to live with. If I'm wrong, I'd like to know, but I think this is right...

The light is made to go on when the airbag is disconnected...
I have an aftermarket steering wheel and with the HKB hub I am using, it came with a resister that plugs into the srs so that the light doesnt come on and still leaves the passenger side airbag working...

Do like hatchling said and take the bulb out of the spot its in. Some people say to remove a fuse but that can lead to setting the airbags off and will be more of a hassle so yea, jus the bulb.

Re: EK SRS? (WOOHOO)
Is the resistor just across the lead? That I can see there are just two leads, Right?
I read somewhere that a 2v 2ohm resistor is needed do you know if this is corect?
Thanks again for the sugestion.

Re: EK SRS? (pucho)
Well i installed my MOMO steering wheel after my accident which my Driver side air bag deployed in my Del Sol S (no passenger side bag in this ride) And i thought i was going to have to deal w/ the SRS light but it never came on, so never had a problem.
Also when i installed a Monte Carlo in one of my boy's 97 ek hatch, I just simply removed his perfect working condition driver side bag, and installed the wheel, No problems w/ SRS light. I think there is something wrong w/ his car or something cuz some ricer had it before & i know he messed w/ a lot of **** in that car. So having no light come on,
Is this odd?
