ek motor mount ?s on a b-sawp
Hey i have a 96 honda civic hatch (ek) and im in the process of doing an LS swap with a GSR tranny. I bought the hasport motor mounts "ekstk" but i ran into some problems test fitting the mount on the driver side, the one that goes on the timing belt side. The holes on the hasport mount seem about 1 cm further apart of where they should line up with the bolts on the engines bolts. do i have to force the bolt on the engine further apart to fit the mount? or is there some kind of bracket i have to buy?
my second ? is for the bracket that bolt up to back of the tranny. I was just wonering if i use the GSR one for this... I would have tried it already but i have a GSR engine hanging in a car by two mounts and i figured i could ask b4 i do it and it ends up not working.
and my last ? has to do with the bracket that bolts to the tranny on the side, the one on the passanger side. I took the bracket off of my old tranny (the one from the 96 dx tranny) and it bolted up fine to the GSR tranny but im wondering if this will work when i drop the engine in the car.
thanks in advance

You need to change the driver side post mounts to a 99 civic si.. (those 2 long screws that point upwards for the engine mounts)
You also need to change the rear transmission bracket mounts to a 99 civic si.. (looks like a shorter version of your gsr L or T bracket mount)

thanks a lot man! its my first swap and i just kind of went into it without much research, i keep running into problems but i usually find a way around it but i had no clue about the brackets. I think i read something like that but i was thinking they were talking about the mounts not the brackets. are these relatively expensive?

lol, I am doing the exact same swap in my car(LS w/ GSR tranny into EK w/ hasport mounts) and I was also confused, really helped me out, thanks for posting this. But what about the passenger side motor mount bracket? Does the D-series one fit or does it also have to be off an 99-00 si?
