Back t bracket not aligning?
I recently replaced my clutch and installed innovative mounts on my hatchback. And now I am experiencing a problem with the bolts lining up cleanly and correctly with the t bracket.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong here? The motor is a zc sohc vtec

Re: Back t bracket not aligning?
do i do this with the passenger side mount off of the car? I have tried lifting the tranny to get the bolts in there, but theyre tight with a lot of thread left in the bolt.i already have the bolt thru the mount, just need the other 3 to go into the transmission.

the *** of the tranny is sitting low and needs to come up, i would think that you wouldnt have to undo the pass side mount but it has been a very long time since i have done a tranny on the ground. (im a lift spoiled bitch)

Re: Back t bracket not aligning?
the back tranny moutn is almost always a PITA. and its gonna be a little harder now since your mounts are stiffer then they were before. if you get one in at first dont tighten it down all the way, just make sure its threading in and then work on the others, that will give you more wiggle room to play with. with the passenger side mount bolted in, put a jack under the back of the tranny and raise it till it lines up good enough to get them started. if they start but get tight like you said, you might want to try the jack thing too just to get even more aligned so you dont screw up the bolts. oh and dont tighten the top rear tranny mount bolt till the others are in.
good luck and hope that helps
