Hi, I just have a question. Lately I've been seeing a lot of the eks interiors being black. I thought the only color you could get it in was light or dark gray? Does that mean you would have to paint the dash or can you purchase a black one somewhere? Thanks.

You could probably import a LHD black dash from somewhere (that is, if any LHD Civics ever came with a black dash), but you won't find one anywhere in the US.

My EK sedan has a purty light brown interior. :\ Taupe is what they call it I believe.

Dont know about the black, probably comes out of an Integra.

post some links to EK interiors in black I haven't seen A LOT of them...chances are they are using RHD CTR parts or painted black...I believe the EDM civic vti came with a black interior too (for a year or to)...I have never seen LHD in black unless they swapped in RHD door pannels

or it could be that the ones he is seeing are people just shined there dash up and were taking pics with out good lighting. i knwo i've seen a few on here that have dark gray dashes liek mine and they look black cause of the pic

That is dark gray.

They are probably painted, or dyed. The door panels in my 240sx were professionally dyed to match the dash and you can't even tell they didn't come the color they are.
