Si for sure. I can not stand those EK bodies. So ugly. My Si has nothing but 2 seats and a dash, so I cant argue about weight. No power either. Love the sunroof though.

Ive had both eg and a ek and id say keep the eg for the fact it has all the goodies but dont get me wrong if they were both a dx id take the ek in a sec .

depends on what you want. Not many EH3 Hatches left on the road, compare to 96-00 Hatches. Personally , I get bored of cars pretty quickly so change isn't a big deal for me. As for Weight differences, call me a retard, but the EH3 hatch's weigh a bit more than a stock CX/DX 97 Hatch.
EH3 = 2326LBS
EJ6 = CX= 2286LBS DX = 2304LBS ( 97 Trim )
So Weight is NOT a big difference at this point.
Parts are cheaper, since it's a newer car compared to the older Civic. The Newer civic is way more comfy than the EH3. Remember think it over carefully, once you make the trade, unless the 97 civic is a lemon, you will not be getting it back. Good Luck.

Are you sure your car is an Si model? Looks kinda like a Phantom Grey CX model(repaint? shaved moldings??) in your pics. Can't really tell though... anyway.... honestly, if both cars are near-stock, I would definitely do the trade. If nothing else, just because the EK is newer. That EK looks mint!

no the 4 sale sign is when i had first bought the car!! lol. i love my eg man i just wanted to see wat trade offers i would get 4 the car and i got alot man mostly da's but not really my type of car. i was aiming towards a 94 ^ integra but got nothin. so i guess ima stay wit my Si hatchi!!

I know people here love the egs man but I gotta say go with the ek there way better looking in the end mine a 97 ek hatch ctr conversion look champ white w a b18b1 swap planning going ls v and that swap was easy as hell did it in one day

It's a 7 year old post but id go with the si for the looks, the sunroof and the disc brakes and how easy they are to swap. I live in P.E.I canada and nobody has them around here so id go with the si.
