EK h22a, not spark, no fuel
just like it says, i did the ek/h22a swap and converted the alternator and distributor using poisons guide and added in the egr into the ecu jumper.
im using the p13 obd1 ecu and the and the obd1 I believe to be the INTERNAL coil distributor
im not sure, the internal coil is the one without the 5th spark plug wire coming from it right?
is there a special way to convert the distributor and i have a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and i see nothing, so i think something is wrong with the fuel pump.

Re: EK h22a, not spark, no fuel
ok got spark and gas, but motor trys to start but just wont.
i checked the error codes and all im getting is 1st o2 sensor heater.
and well duh i dont have it connected cuz i dont have one.
but i know thats not causing the motor not to start.
i have rc 440 injectors on it, thats the way the motor came.
and they dont have a resister box on them. and i check and they have obd0 injector plugs.
so are they obd0, do they need a resister box at all. or are the 440's just to much gas for no fuel management system?

Is spark bright white or weak orange or blue?
Have you checked the mechanical timing?
Is the engine flooded? Have you checked cylinder compressions?

U have to check the resistance of the injectors with a multimeter to know if u need a resistor box and 440cc on a stock P13 sounds like a flood waiting to happen anyway. I mean stock injectors r either 310cc or 290cc.

i didnt build the motor, but im slapping on some stock injectors, and seeing what happens there. also the car has a walbearrel fuel pump, would take make the injector pump more gas? or just keep the fuel pressure from dropping?

It would just be capable of pumping more fuel and keep the pressure steady, that's all. As long as ur on stock fuel pressure and stock ecu it should work fine.

just looked at the adjustable cams and they are both off zero badly
and the bolts are finger tight!
just sat on the phone for a half hour asking the guy who built the motor about his questionable work.
