(EJ6 with GSR) Push gas pedal in nuetral RPMs don't come down?
I have a 2000 EJ6 with a semi built JDM GSR (wiseco pistons, eagle rods, built for turbo) that was recently just built. Ive started the car havent put any miles on it yet, its on a basemap that my tuner wrote for me. Now that the backround is out of the way, the car starts fine ive had it idling normally around 800rpms, but when the pedal is pushed is revs up and stays at a higher rpm. EX. rev to say 2500 comes down to 2000 and stays there. I have checked and rechecked the throttlebody plate, spring, cable and all are fine as this problem only occurs when the car is running. I am wondering if it could be a bad TPS or possibly is my wiring bad? I did the swap and and put the turbo kit all on at the same time, I have never driven the car with the GSR, but I am not getting any cel's while running. It just seems like something electrical as in TPS or what not is holding the RPMS higher. If anyone has some insight please let me know. I also did search and this is a odd problem, and also mods if you want this in FI section thats fine but its more of a general problem.
