Garrett 600 hp core I will be installing later. Debating on what clutch I will be using. Most likely candidate is a Twin Disc Comp Clutch Spec C. Also working out some other minor details before I get this engine back which I will post on here!

New intercooler vs old intercooler. You really do get what you pay for. This Garrett Intercooler will put any of those cheap brands to shame.

yes have to use applicator gun becuase the two parts mix in the nozzle that attaches to it. It is 3m 8115 PBA. http://www.levineautoparts.com/3maupaboad20.html

I did something similar in my garage, but I like those tiles better.

Ha, they came with my house. They are soft - like linoleum (spelling). I can imagine they are cheap if you can find them. They are stickied/glued down. They suit my personality and lifestyle well.

If you look at the fuel cell it has an aviation style lid (that leaks) junk RCi. Just open the trunk and lid.

I will be welding in a Pro Werks O ring bung with cap.

its linoleum. i actually just recently installed the same linoleum on his kitchen floor it turned out great. just make sure to rent the roller and let the glue get tacky and gasses out before laying the floor or it can get air bubbles trapped underneath if u rush it. nice build so far. i def know what your talking about with a real intercooler vs a ebay intercooler. my sparco intercooler is way more durable and not as cheap and thin as the ebay intercoolers.

i definitely like the design of the new lid a lot better. im sure if u were picky u could use a dremel or some sand paper to smooth out the welds a lil bit. i've always heard welding aluminum is hard and must be super clean to leave a good bead. it's just a gas tank and its under the trunk hidden ..lol

Good info, thanks.
I wound up using Armstrong tiles from HomeDepot for my garage, came out nice but I like that better.

Congrats on the progress man, coming out nicely.
