Default EG6 clip

Does anyone know a good place to purchase an EG6 clip minus motor and tranny?

They sell them on ebay and such, but they're expensive. I think the best bet would be to call an engine importer who usually see's no value to the clip and just wants the motor.

yeah, but most importers won't remove the engine for the clip, too much work.

Well, someones taking the engines out. More than likely, they aren't using the clip. That's how I found mine. A guy in CA took the engine out and I came and picked up the clip from his driveway. $350.

if you picked it up from his drive way then he wasn't an importer, now was he?

No he wasn't, but instead of looking all day in peoples' driveways, I'd talk to an importer who probably deals with these things a little more often than your average Johnny homeowner.

Maybe they have a clip laying around where the customer didn't want to ship half of a car and just wanted the engine.

I got it ordered from toronto jdm. $900 shipped through customs with everything the way I wanted it.
