Default eg4 vs. eg6

i was wondering if there was a suspension differences in the two? I was looking at the website of some coilovers and the two egs were listed with different models. So i was just wondering if there was a differences. TIA

isnt an eg4 a sedan?? eg6 is a hatch so they might have different spring rates for different model trim cars.. most coilovers sold for a particular car will work w/ any trim level...

EG4 is the VTi hatch. EG6 is the SiR. Not sure why they would separate the coilovers though, unless the EG4 is using different control arms. The only difference I know in the two suspensions is that the VTi is missing a rear anti-sway bar.

It is more then likely the rear lower control arm. The EG6 has a Type R type while the EG4 has a regular usdm civic si arm. Hope this helps

thanks for the info guys.. do you think either of them will be a problem fiting on to an ek? i know that you can do the washer method for some struts to fit... but what do you guys think? tia

I dont think those arms will work on a ek i believe there shorter. Dont know for sure though

A JDM 92-95 Civic sedan is called a EG9 Ferio.

All jdm civic's have the itr style lca's. Same for jdm delsols. The only difference is the ones that dont come equipped with rear sway bars do not have a nut welded where the swaybar endlink would bolt up, there is just the hole.

If there is any differences in suspension it would probably be because eg6's come with heavier dohc vtec motors while eg4's have shoc vtec. That would be my best guess.
