Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
"SEARCH" is your friend. i myself have made a thread about this.
are you trying to bolt the door up to your car or just take all the guts? the 4door window is different from a coupe. you could use your stock windows but idk how that goes. i bolted up the entire power door from a 2dr ex. you dont need to cut any wires off, just let the plugs dangle there.

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
Power and manual doors use the same shell and window. Going to a Honda parts site and looking up the part numbers would tell you whether the 2 and 4 door use the same window regulator. That's the best I can offer.

Let me know how this goes. There's a guy selling an entire power window/doors kit for $300, I think I'm gonna go look around junkyards and try to slowly piece the kit together.

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
You can use the underdash harness and the door harnesses (you may need to lengthen the door harnesses a little, don't know for sure) You can also use the lock box. You can't use the switches or window regulars. Btw you'll also have to modify the automatic harness so the car will start and the backup lights work. I'd hold out for a '93 - '95 EX coupe.

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
^ Correct to a point. The coupes can be hard to track down. Regulators can come from a 94-01 Integra. If you have a 4dr harness, separate the Power wires you need and run them parallel to existing cabin harness instead of replacing the whole cabin harness. Anyway, read the DIYs (including mine) .. you'll learn everything you need to know.

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
you shouldnt have to cut or lengthen any wires. the only cutting you have to do is separating the cabin harness from the power door/mirror harness and the speaker wires. im too lazy to look for you right now but use the search function and search "power window conversion" in the 92-00civic forum. there is a real good write up with pictures about how to separate the cabin harness from the power harness.
as far as bits n pieces go. i say just keep an eye out everywhere for parts. especially the door panels. hopefully you have grey interior cause those panels are easier to find. listen to DeSchlong, he knows his ****. he helped me with my conversion

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
I'll keep searching for a 93-95 ex, see what happens, and ill keep reading on this. I just gave up my GSr parts car, wish i would of known about the regulators,
Didn't really have this option in mind. Just seeing what my options are with this conversion. I'll keep searching, see what comes up before spring time.

Holy crap - you're in Thunder Bay??? Well, give up your search now for a 2dr EX because Coupes with power windows/locks didn't exist in Canada! (Only had power mirrors.) Unless you make a trip down to Duluth or something (I've actually been to a wreckers in Duluth ....... ) Your best bet is finding the wiring from a CDM EX 4dr. You can probably also steal the power door lock motors (coulda got this from the Integra too.) Then order all the other bits on eBay or through the HondaMarketplace.

I can't believe I forgot that. And I was the one who confirmed they would work. OP I bought my door harnesses and switches from a guy in the US through the H-T marketplace, still need to find a floor harness and door panels (JDM door panels will work btw, you just need the USDM switches)

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
Sorry to bring this thread back up, just had another question about the conversion. I have yet to find any complete conversions on ebay, and or cheap parts online, since i dont live in the states in these things are hard to come by here.
Wondering If ANYONE has ever attempted to take the 4dr motor, actulators, harness, and dash harness/fuse panel and swaped it into a 2dr eg, or coupe.?
Any info on this would be greatful.

Re: EG window Conversion QUESTIONs -
Ex meaning 4dr accord - i actually seen one at the scrappers the other day.
So if i can get the floor harness out of it with the wiring in both doors
and 2 regulators from a 2dr acura integra.
-all i would need would be the switches? for a 92-95 civic?
or can any other switches work?
-power window relay - from which car would work?
-fuse box?
